Guitarist Tom Farrell strides effortlessly across the worlds of Classical, Contemporary and music of the globe. As conductor of the Los Angeles Electric 8, Tom launched the group on a successful East Coast tour in the spring of 2011 where they were greeted with great enthusiasm at the Strathmore Guitar Festival and received a Critic’s Pick in Time Out Magazine in New York City. Rising opportunities in Los Angeles have continued to evolve Tom into an extremely versatile guitar player and composer. In 2011, Tom co-founded LA's premier violin and guitar combo; Dúo Del Sol, with violinist Javier Orman. Recently Tom recorded Hermano for the soundtrack of the Will Ferrell movie ‘Casa de mi Padre’.
